Welcome to the website of the Actuarial & Financial Society in University College Dublin. The society is entering its 25th session and is currently seeking sponsorship for the 2017-18 academic year. The A&F Society was set-up 25 years ago with four objectives:
- To establish and maintain healthy relations with the actuarial and financial industry.
- To present and promote the course amongst prospective employers.
- To provide a framework within which students can meet socially and develop strong relationships that will last through university and on into their future careers.
- To provide students with career focused events that equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to pursue a career in the actuarial and financial industry.
Each year at the society AGM a new society committee is elected. The 2017-18 society committee is as follows:
